Wolt Gifting is a feature that allows customers to order and send different itemas as gifts to their loved ones!

How does it work?
Customer puts an order
Customers use the Wolt app to buy a gift and send it to someone else. They can send meals, flowers, groceries and other items as gifts to friends, family or loved ones.

Recipient receives tracking information
The recipient will receive a delivery tracking link via SMS notifying them that a gift is on the way. The tracking link also advises them to contact support if they won't be home in time of delivery.
Please note that the recipient may have missed the notification and be surprised about the delivery. As always, be friendly and explain that you are delivering a gift for them ordered by someone else.

Delivery as normal
Gift orders are assigned to you just like any other order and you will see a note in the delivery details stating that it is a gift. You don't need to take any extra steps when handling gifts.
You will need to verify the recipient's ID to complete the task. The recipient receives the digital handshake code to provide it for you via the tracking link.

Contact Live Support in case of any problem
Please keep in mind that you will only be able to contact the customer who has arranged the gift delivery and not the recipient of the gift.
Reach out to Live Support immediately in following scenarios:

Recipient is not home when you arrive

Recipient does not accept the delivery or have issues with it

The handshake code is not available

Any other problem with delivery
