Conditions of participation
The organizer of the "Wolt Courier Advent Calendar" competition (hereinafter referred to only as the competition) is Wolt Enterprises Deutschland GmbH, Stralauer Allee 6, 10245 Berlin, Germany, (hereinafter referred to as the "Organizer"). The legal process is excluded. Closing date is 24.12.2022, 23:59 (CET/MEZ).
The competition will take place daily from 01.12.2022 to 24.12.2022 on the Wolt Courier Blog (https://www.wolt.team/blog). You can comment daily under the current blog post to participate in the competition.
The organizer is the sole contact and responsible party.
The organizer reserves the right to cancel or terminate the competition due to unforeseen circumstances (especially technical or legal) without prior notice.
Details of the procedure of the competition can be found below under "Procedure".
By participating in this competition, the participant accepts the conditions of participation set out below.
Note: We use the masculine form "participant" exclusively for reasons of better readability.
The competition and the prizes awarded as a result represent a voluntary benefit provided by the employer. A corresponding claim does not arise for the future from the implementation of the competition. We reserve the right to decide each year whether to hold an Advent competition and which prizes to offer. This also applies if we hold the competition repeatedly.
Participation
All persons who have reached the age of 18 and are resident in Germany may participate. Excluded are persons who have not completed a delivery as Wolt courier in the last three months. Persons who are not employed as couriers by Wolt Enterprise Deutschland GmbH as well as persons who are involved in the conception and implementation of this competition are excluded from participation. The winner agrees that his first name and place of residence will be published by the provider. The legal process and a cash payment are excluded. The closing date for entries is 24.12.2021, 23:59 (CET/MEZ).
The competition is offered subject to availability. The provider reserves the right to extend or shorten the sweepstakes without giving reasons as well as to temporarily suspend the possibility of participating in the sweepstakes for technical reasons. Furthermore, the provider reserves the right to exclude participants from the competition in the event of suspected misuse, manipulation or criminal conduct. There is no legal claim to participation in the competition. The prizes will be drawn from all entries and are only available once in the stated number.
Participation in the competition is free of charge and independent of the purchase of goods or services. However, Internet access is required for participation and any costs incurred are to be borne by the participant.
The closing date for entries is 23:59 on the day in question.
The winners will be notified within 3 business days by e-mail, which has been deposited in their Wolt account and will receive their prize by e-mail. Winners will be notified by email by when they must respond back to the prize notification for redemption. If the winner does not respond within the set time limit, the claim to the prize will be forfeited. In the case of unsuccessful sending of a prize, only a new delivery attempt will be made. If this is also unsuccessful, the claim to the prize will be forfeited and a replacement winner will be named.
Notes on data protection
Wolt Enterprises Deutschland GmbH, Stralauer Allee 6, 10245 Berlin, Germany, is the responsible party for the implementation of the competition. As part of the competition, we collect the following personal data that you provide to us in a comment via your member account:

This data will only be used for prize notification. Notifications about the sweepstakes will be made by email or app post. We use this data only for the implementation and processing of the sweepstakes.
To increase the transparency of the sweepstakes, we reserve the right to publish the names of the winners on the sweepstakes page for 12 months according to the pattern V. Last name from Musterstadt. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f DSGVO.
In the course of processing the sweepstakes, we may pass on your data to cooperation partners and/or service providers with whom we have concluded order processing agreements.
With the exception of the winners' data, which must be stored for up to ten years for tax reasons, all data will be deleted by us and by our cooperation partners within 6 weeks after the competition has been completed.

Expiry
The competition begins on 01.12.2022 at 0 o'clock and ends on 24.12.2022 at 23:59 o'clock (CET/MEZ). Per day, the participant can only participate once after successfully entering a comment under the respective blog post. Participation in the sweepstakes is not possible without a member account. If the data provided by the participant in the competition turns out to be incorrect, the claim to the prize will be forfeited. In this case, the organizer reserves the right to name a replacement winner.
Entries or comments whose content is offensive, discriminatory, illegal, extremist, racist, xenophobic, sexist, pornographic, damaging to reputation or business will be deleted without justification and are excluded from the competition.
And this is how it works: The participant opens a door of the Advent calendar every day, this means clicking on the current blog post with the current date every day. By posting a comment, the participant can enter the daily draw and register for the sweepstakes. The participant will not receive a confirmation email for verification. The participant can enter the daily prize draw once a day.
Blogpost
The participant has the opportunity to secure three additional tickets for the raffle of the daily prize by submitting his own Christmas story. The prerequisite for this is that this is sent in via the form.
Winnings
- 22x gift vouchers worth €10
- 4x gift vouchers worth €15
- 7x gift vouchers worth 20 €
The winners will be notified by Wolt in writing and their names may be published on Wolt's Courier website. With this form of publication, everyone expressly agrees to participate in the competition.
The winner of a voucher must contact Wolt within two weeks after notification. If he/she does not do so, the claim to the prize will be forfeited and Wolt reserves the right to name a substitute winner. A substitution of the prize is also excluded. The voucher may be transferred. However, a resale is illegal.
Complaints regarding the execution of the prize draw have to be addressed to Wolt in writing within 14 days after the reason has become known, stating the reason for the complaint.
With the handing over of the prize Wolt is released from all obligations, unless an earlier point in time results from these regulations. The possibility of payment of the voucher value is excluded.
The legal process is excluded. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany is exclusively applicable. The invalidity of these provisions shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. These Terms and Conditions of Participation may be amended by Wolt at any time without separate notification.
