Advent Calendar Door 1 šŸŽ

The magic of Advent šŸŽ„

Itā€™s already the magical time of advent. And today our advent calendar starts with December 1. The time before Christmas is reflective and cheerful. It's a wonderful time with all the Christmas markets, candle-lights and cozy hours at home. As Advent calendars are very popular in Germany, we also prepared one for you to hopefully brighten your pre-Christmas time!

How does the Wolt Advent-Calendar work?

We will publish a blog post every day.

To be in the lottery, you only need to comment below to the question asked in the post.

There will be a new lottery every day and the winner will be announced in the following days.

You can take part as often as you want.

Please note, that winners will be contacted via the Email-Address in their Wolt courier profile.

The announcement of the winner can take up to 3 business days.

Customs and rituals during the Advent season

The Advent season has a very long tradition in Christianity. What has remained, however, are the traditions and rituals that have grown up with the Advent season over centuries. Advent calendars, Advent wreaths, cookie baking, Christmas lights and decorations are more than just fond childhood memories. They are symbols of joy, warmth, a sense of family and charity.

Especially, pre-Christmas traditions revive the magic of childhood and have a deep meaning to a lot of people. When baking cookies or decorating the Christmas tree, you quickly feel reminded of childhood and time spent with your loved ones. For most people, a visit to the Christmas market is also traditionally part of the pre-Christmas season. There you can find the full Christmas atmosphere: the Christmas smells, Christmas carols, Christmas tree and - with a lot of luck - the right winter weather.

What kind of rituals do you have before Christmas or other festivities that are important to you? āœØ

Do you want to potentially have your own story in the blog? Let us know about your festivities and customs in your culture, and you will have the chance to get published here, as well as an additional chance to win a prize!

The competition will take place daily from 01.12.2022 to 24.12.2022 on the Wolt Kurier blog (https://www.wolt.team/blog). You can comment daily under the current blog post to participate in the sweepstakes. Details about the competition can be found here. The competition is open to anyone over the age of 18 who lives in Germany. Excluded are persons who have not completed a delivery as Wolt courier in the last three months. The Advent raffle and the winnings granted therefrom represent a voluntary benefit of the employer. A corresponding claim does not arise for the future from the implementation of the raffle. We reserve the right to decide each year whether to hold an Advent raffle and which prizes to offer. This also applies if we hold the raffle repeatedly.
